THE HOSTESS WITH THE MOSTEST

Chelsie joined Soar Valley Dental Practice in 2019 and is one of the friendly faces you’ll find Front of House. She genuinely loves meeting our patients, having a chat and making sure everyone feels at home from the moment they walk through the door — which, as it turns out, is very much in her nature.

Because Chelsie doesn't really do hospitality by halves.

Her friends describe her as an over-the-top hostess, and she’ll happily go above and beyond for birthdays, Christmas celebrations or even a Sunday dinner. Quite how far is above and beyond? Well, having horses in the back garden covered in bows is apparently considered perfectly reasonable in Chelsie’s world. 🎀

She’s also a self-confessed foodie and loves discovering new restaurants, although a really good classic British meal will always be hard to beat.

Away from the practice, Chelsie loves spending time with her family, particularly her daughter Georgie. Pamper nights, Disney films, holidays and making memories together are some of her favourite things — and Chelsie is quietly hoping Georgie never decides she’s too grown-up for any of them.

Life at home also involves Frankie, her miniature sausage dog, and what appears to be an ongoing negotiation over the ownership of everybody’s shoes.

When she finally gets some downtime, Chelsie likes nothing more than a good thriller or settling down to a murder documentary — because apparently nothing says relaxation quite like an unsolved homicide.

And then there’s one final Chelsie fact we simply couldn't leave out...

She sneezes when she’s full.

It’s called snatiation, and means that finishing a particularly good meal can be swiftly followed by a sneezing fit.

Given her love of food, we can only assume this happens rather a lot.
