At Soar Valley Dental Practice, we welcome new patients of all ages for both general and cosmetic dentistry. Our focus is on providing exceptional care in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Your New Patient Consultation begins with 30 minutes dedicated to getting to know you. One of our Treatment Coordinators will talk through your medical and dental history, discuss any concerns and answer your questions, so we can understand what you're looking for before you meet your dentist.
You'll then meet your dentist for a comprehensive examination, including X-rays if required and our detailed 17-point dental health check. Using an intra-oral camera, we'll explain any findings clearly and discuss all suitable treatment options, helping you make an informed decision.
After your examination, your Care Coordinator will talk you through your personalised treatment plan in clear, jargon-free language. If you're feeling nervous, we're here to help, with extra support and comfort options, including music or DVDs during treatment to help you relax.

Please allow approximately 1½ hours for your first visit. You'll spend the first 30 minutes with one of our Treatment Coordinators before meeting your dentist for your comprehensive consultation.
