Rachel qualified as a dentist in 2012 and is known for her warm, thoughtful and holistic approach to care. She takes the time to really get to know her patients, looking beyond individual teeth and considering the bigger picture — with the aim of helping people feel comfortable, understood and confident in the care they receive.

One of Rachel’s greatest passions is early interceptive orthodontics, particularly in younger children. She believes that identifying potential problems early can give us the opportunity to guide growth and development at the right time, rather than simply waiting until all of the adult teeth have arrived.

Her interest in orthodontics continues into adulthood, where Rachel favours a thoughtful, minimally invasive approach wherever appropriate. She is particularly passionate about exploring ways to create beautiful, healthy smiles while preserving natural teeth whenever possible.

Rachel’s holistic outlook extends beyond dentistry too. She has a genuine interest in overall health and wellbeing and brings that same considered approach to the way she cares for her patients — although don't let all this sensible talk fool you. She is also one of the team members most likely to have a joke ready for any occasion. Whether it's a good joke is an entirely different matter.

Outside the practice, Rachel has her hands full with two young children and Nala, her much-loved pooch. When family life allows, she loves being outdoors, getting some fresh air and spending time with the people (and four-legged family members) she loves most.
